A study conducted by the US Department of Agriculture (USDA), confirmed one of the most important causes of obesity in US citizens. There is a popular trend of consuming fast food among the people of US. Those who consume fast food without any control are in danger of becoming obese or overweight. The study was conducted by USDA’s Agricultural Research Service department, participating about 9,000 citizens. It explains in detail the obesity risk caused by the limitless intake of fast food and also carbonated soft drinks. The fast food contains high amount of fats, carbohydrates, calories, and so on. There are several factors which influence the intake of fast food like the increase in the work-week hours, rise in the number of fast food joints in US, etc. The solution for this trend is to plan the weekly meals and other grocery-related shopping which prevents these people from going for a quick bite.
